Privacy policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026. Wrenton SAS (see the legal notice) is the data controller for Songloop.
What we collect
- A random identifier stored in your browser to keep your credits and clips together. No account or password.
- The ideas and settings you type, and the songs and clips made from them.
- Your email address and payment details when you buy credits (payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number), or when you join the waitlist.
- Basic technical logs (IP address, browser) kept by our host for security.
Why
To make and deliver your clips (contract), to take payments and keep invoices (legal obligation), and to prevent abuse of the free tier (legitimate interest). We do not sell your data and we do not use your ideas to train models.
Who processes it for us
Cloudflare (hosting and storage), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (lyrics and scene writing), ElevenLabs (singing and timing), fal.ai (AI video scenes) and Amazon Web Services (video rendering). Some are based in the United States; transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
How long
Clips and ideas are kept for 90 days, then deleted. Payment records are kept for 10 years as required by French law.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to its use, by writing to marc@wrenton.com. You can also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr). We do not use advertising cookies; your browser only stores the Songloop identifier.
